I am Aida Krgin, founder of Mind Body Synergy.
For years I did everything I was told to do. I ate low-fat, counted calories, cut portions, and followed every guideline that promised better health. Some of it worked for a while. None of it lasted. And when my body stopped responding the way it should have in my 40s, I was given the same advice again with more urgency and less explanation.
So I went looking for my own answers.
I Found the Answers the Hard Way. You Do Not Have To.
I studied human physiology. I read the researchers whose work challenged what I had been taught. I completed formal training in Nutrition and Wellness Coaching through Harvard Medical School Executive Education. And I changed the way I ate entirely, removing the processed carbohydrates, seed oils, and sugar that were driving the problems I had been told were inevitable as part of aging, and rebuilding my meals around real food my body actually recognized as fuel.
The results were not subtle. I am almost 62 years old. I take no medication. I have no chronic conditions. My energy is stable, my mind is clear, and I feel stronger now than I did in my 40s when I was still following the conventional approach. That is not genetics. That is information applied consistently over time.
Mind Body Synergy exists to make that information accessible. I write articles that break down the science of low-carb living, hormonal health, leptin resistance, insulin, and what actually happens in a woman's body after 40. I do not sell supplements, and I do not believe you need a pile of pills to fix what food can fix first.
What I offer instead is clear, research-backed information and two structured programs built around the exact approach that changed my own health. Both include 30 days of direct email access to me personally, because I know how much harder the first month is when you are doing it alone, and I do not want any woman going through that without someone who has actually lived it on the other end.
The people whose work informs everything I write include, but are not limited to, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Paul Mason, Dr. Eric Westman, Dr. Robert Lustig, Dr. Elizabeth Bright, Professor Bart Kay, Expert nutritionist Richard Smith from the UK, Nina Teicholz, and Gary Taubes. Their work is cited throughout the articles and the program because the science matters, and you deserve to know where the information comes from.
If you are a woman over 40 who is tired of being told that the way you feel is simply part of getting older, you are in the right place. It does not have to look like this. The information that changes it is here.
