Why Aging Isn’t the Problem—The Standard American Diet Is

cavemen painting scene hunters and animals, proper human diet

I was listening to Dr. Ken Berry the other day, and something he said really struck me. He pointed out how cave paintings don’t show humans foraging for kale or tossing salads—they show humans hunting animals. That alone tells you everything you need to know about what the proper human diet used to be. For thousands of years, we thrived on meat, fat, and nutrient-dense animal foods. Fast forward to today, and we’ve been convinced that the opposite is better—that meat is dangerous, fat clogs your arteries, and that a plant-based, high-carb diet is the path to health. But the truth is, we’ve never been sicker.

Look around. People are struggling with obesity, fatigue, depression, joint pain, autoimmune issues, and chronic disease—and most of them are told it’s just “part of getting older.” But I don’t buy that anymore. Sure, we’re all going to die someday, but I’d rather live with energy and clarity than spend my last twenty years doped up on eight different medications trying to manage symptoms that were likely caused by poor diet in the first place. These aren’t random conditions—they are diet-induced problems, plain and simple. The Standard American Diet is a disaster. It’s filled with sugar, seed oils, processed junk, and fake health foods. It hasn’t worked, and it will never work.

Doctors like Dr. Berry and Dr. Paul Mason are waking up and speaking out. They’re sharing what many of us are realizing for ourselves: most of what we were taught about nutrition is flat-out wrong. I’ve made it my personal mission to research, learn, and share the truth about nutrition—backed by science, not ideology, not corporate food marketing, and certainly not outdated government guidelines driven by financial or religious agendas. Every day, I uncover more evidence that challenges what we’ve all been told. It’s not just fascinating—it’s life-changing.

I know changing hearts and minds won’t happen overnight. It takes time to undo decades of misinformation. But that’s what I’m here for—to share the truth, challenge the myths, and offer support to anyone ready to take their health into their own hands. Because aging doesn’t have to mean decline. We were designed to thrive—let’s start living like it.
